Clubs & Enrichment

AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS:

The school run sport clubs through Ace Coaching every half-term.  This academic year, we are building upon that by broadening our offer.  This will include:

  • Years 1 & 2
    • Escape Room
    • Coding Club
  • Years 3 & 4
    • Recorder Club
    • Choir
  • Years 5 & 6
    • Keyboard Club
    • Netball Club

 

These will be free of charge with children in KS1 and KS2 given the opportunity to attend a club at some point during the academic year.  Details of these clubs will be shared with families via Class Dojo.

CURRICULUM ENRICHMENT

The school continues to develop the events and activities that take place in school, ensuring that they are appropriate, well-planned and do not place financial burden on families. Examples have included:

  • Design and make a Christmas Tee-Shirt
  • Easter Bonnet Parade
  • Red Nose Day Super Heroes
  • Ukraine Appeal
  • Forest School
  • Dudley Performing Arts
  • Workshops at St Mark's Church
  • Celebrating significant events such as the Platinum Jubilee
  • Making and Baking
  • Sports Day
  • Year 6 Party & Leavers Service

 

Some of the activities that have been planned for 2022-2023 can be found at the bottom of this page.  It is not an exclusive list of everything that will be completed during the course of the academic year; visits to the Church and Religious visitors to school will also form part of our enrichment offer, as detailed within our long-term curriculum overview.
