And so, our Christmas celebrations are done. After an amazing performance by Reception, including a family craft session, UKS2 finished off the term with Carols in the Cold!
Yet another fantastic Christmas performance. This time, from the children in Years 1 and 2. They are completing two performances this week and are doing a brilliant job!
Well done to Years 3 & 4 for such a wonderful Christmas Family Worship. It was a lovely service, and great to see so many parents and family in attendance.
Rev Nigel followed the service by visiting the children in Early Years and helping them with their Christingles.
A huge well done to the children who sang so beautifully at the St Mark's Community Carol Service. Sincerest thanks to parents and families who attended the service; a lovely time was had by all.
I am please to announce that, once again, St Mark's are...
THE WINNERS OF THE BRIERLEY HILL MARKET SCHOOL CHOIR COMPETITION! 🎉🥳
A huge well done to all of the children who participated; they were an absolute credit to the school.
Sincerest thanks to Miss Brownsell and Mrs Groucutt for giving up their time to practice and rehearse with the choir.
Today, we had a special visitor at Little Blossom playgroup, with each child going home with a present.
A reminder that our weekly playgroup is completely free, as are refreshments.
KS2 had an amazing Christmas Disco, including our very own Elfie Selfie Station. A huge thank you to St Mark's CA and all the staff for their time and hard work.
A reminder that children are invited to wear Christmas Jumpers on Friday 22nd December. The school has a 'Christmas Jumper Swap Shop' in the main reception area, where families can come and collect a pre-loved and hardly-used Christmas jumper free of charge.
A huge thank you to St Mark's Community Association and staff for organising a brilliant Christmas Disco for children in Years 1 and 2.
The school choir were invited to sing at Russell's Hall Hospital, which they did beautifully. Then, our very own Elissa helped to turn on the Christmas Lights!
