At St Mark’s, we believe that working in partnership with parents and carers helps children to get the most from their learning. At the beginning of each term, we share a Learning Overview for every class, providing families with a clear picture of what children will be learning during the term ahead.

Learning Overviews provide a summary of the key knowledge and skills being developed across the curriculum. They include the books children will be reading, the focus for grammar and spelling, the key areas of Mathematics, and the knowledge and skills that will be taught across the wider curriculum.

Learning Overviews are shared on our school website and through ClassDojo, enabling parents and carers to see what their child is learning and providing opportunities to talk about, discuss and celebrate their learning at home.
