Our most recent Ofsted inspection took place on 6th and 7th October 2026. We are pleased to share the report from this inspection, which recognises the positive work taking place across St Mark’s and the difference this makes to the experiences and outcomes of our pupils.

The report highlights the strength of our caring and inclusive school community, the positive relationships between pupils and staff, and the sense of safety, belonging and support that children experience. Inspectors recognised the school's work to continuously improve the curriculum, particularly in reading, mathematics and communication, alongside the commitment of leaders and governors to ensuring that every child is supported to thrive.

The report also identifies priorities that will help us continue to strengthen our provision and improve outcomes for all pupils. We welcome this recognition of our work and remain committed to building on our strengths, addressing areas for development and providing the very best education and experiences for our children.
