Remote Learning 2021

Learning Packs can be collected from the school or delivered to families.  The content of these packs link directly to the work that your child was completing before the lockdown.  Teaching instructional videos will be uploaded onto the school Video Resource Centre.  These will provide both you and your child with an explanation of their learning for that day. 

The school has designed the remote learning to be purposeful, achievable and stress-free.  School staff will be phoning home once or twice a week to speak to children about their learning; if you receive a phone call from a withheld number, please answer as it will most likely be your child's teacher.

The work that your child will be completing each day will be:

• English
• Mathematics
• Science and/or Topic

This work is designed to take three hours for children in EYFS & KS1 to complete and four hours for children to complete in Key Stage 2.  In addition to this work, you can also use one of the  online learning subscriptions to further challenge and support your child.  Details can be found below.

We have also included the answer sheets for the Power Maths learning activities that your child has been undertaking each day.  This allows you to give your child instantaneous feedback and to relay your child's knowledge and understanding to the class teacher.
