We are so very proud of our young people as they rise to various challenges against other local primary schools
Recently, we have sent two teams to the annual Dudley Maths Challenge - a team for Year 3 and 4 and a team for Years 5 and 6. Both teams did incredibly well and proved themselves to be very accomplished mathematicians.
Our Years 5 and 6 team did particularly well and have got through to the Maths Challenge Final in June 2018!
We are very proud of this amazing achievement - this is the second year in a row that St Mark's have got through to the finals!
We have also welcomed participation in the annual Dudley Book Quiz as we do every year. Once again, we sent along a Years 3 and 4 team and a Years 5 and 6 team of avid readers to compete against other local primary schools. the enthusiasm and excitement from both teams as they prepared with their reading and possible questions and then as they enjoyed the competition was a delight to see. Both teams tried incredibly hard and should be very proud of themselves as we are of them.
Once again, our Years 5 and 6 team has got through to the next round - week beginning 12th March - so watch this space!
Well done to all the children who have represented St Mark's in such a spectacular way - we are ALL very proud of you!
